Crispy KETO CHICKEN STRIPS | Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets | Keto Air Fryer Recipe


I have been making these keto chicken strips in my frying pan for a while now. I usually fry them in avocado oil and they are amazing. Since I purchased an air fryer, I’ve been making my keto chicken strips in there because it doesn’t require all the oil, it’s easy to clean up and the air fryer still makes crispy, juicy keto chicken strips.

In this video, I show you how to make keto chicken strips. I use chicken tenders which is from the chicken breast, but you can use thigh meat as well or cut them up into small pieces to make keto chicken nuggets.

Your family and keto kids will love this recipe for keto chicken strips! They make an easy keto dinner recipe. Enjoy them with ranch or sugar free BBQ sauce like Lillie’s Q sauce

1 package of chicken tenders or thigh meat cut into chunks (about 1 pound)
1 cup almond flour
½ cup ground pork rinds
2 tablespoon coconut flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 egg

Season chicken tenders with salt and set aside.
Combine almond flour, pork rinds, coconut flour and seasonings. Add to a paper bag.
Whisk together the egg with 1 tablespoon of water.
Add a couple of chicken tenders to the bag with the coating. Shake until evenly coated.
Dip each tender in the egg wash, then put back into the back and shake to add more batter to the tender. Repeat with remaining tenders.
For extra, extra crispy chicken strips. Do a final coating with egg wash and a dip in a bowl with ground pork rinds only.
Add in a single layer to a lightly greased air fryer tray. Bake at 350-360 for 10 minutes each side.
