If you’ve only ever had grandma’s boiled Brussels sprouts, you’re probably not much of a fan of sprouts in general. I feel ya.
You just have to trust me that roasting Brussels sprouts completely changes the flavor and texture. Give them a try and see for yourself!
How to make Brussels sprouts in the air fryer:

The first step is to chop the ends off the sprouts and peel off any outer leaves that are looking damaged or gross.
Cut the Brussels sprouts into halves for smaller ones and quarters for larger ones.
Toss the Brussels sprouts in a mixing bowl and drizzle with a little avocado oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt.
I like to use avocado oil for cooking because it has a neutral flavor and a high smoke point, meaning that you can cook it at higher temperatures than olive oil. The smoke point of avocado oil is 500 degrees!
The balsamic adds a touch of sweet tangy goodness that works so well with these Brussels sprouts.
Toss together your Brussels sprouts and add them to your air fryer.
Cook at 390 degrees for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through. Test your sprouts for doneness and cook a bit longer, if necessary. We like our Brussels sprouts to still be a bit firm, but they will soften up more if you cook them a bit longer.
What air fryer to use:
I did a lot of research before purchasing my air fryer, because I wanted one that held quite a bit of food. Some of them are tiny, which means that you’re cooking everything in batches.

Haven’t had a problem yet, it’s a good size, and it’s super easy to clean. Highly recommend!

Trim the ends off the sprouts and slice into quarters.
Add the cut Brussels sprouts to a large bowl with the oil, vinegar, and salt. Toss well to coat.
Heat air fryer to 390 degrees.
Add your Brussels sprouts to your air fryer basket and air fry for 10 minutes, shaking once halfway through.
Test for doneness after 10 minutes. If Brussels sprouts are not as tender as you’d like, continue cooking and checking every 1 minute.
